This four star hotel is the perfect choice for adults wanting a place to relax and enjoy a sunny seafront holiday in a peaceful location. It provides a delightful pool in exotic gardens, yet is just a couple of miles from shops, bars and nightlife in the centre of Kyrenia. Family owned hotel has been developed into a desirable boutique hotel under the experienced eye of Huseyin, who returned from the USA to take up the position of Manager at the High Life Hotel alongside his two sisters. As a passionate and enthusiastic team, they have transformed this well-located hotel into the pleasant boutique hotel it is today. As keen gardeners, the family has created beautiful gardens filled with colourful flora surrounding the pool.
One of the main features of the High Life Hotel is the seafront terrace where you can relax and admire the beautiful Mediterranean views. From the lower terrace guests can take a cooling dip in the sea or relax on the lawn area.

A short walk from the High Life Hotel is the sandy Karakum beach. This free local beach is in a delightful sandy bay with clear water for snorkelling and great rock formations. Other nearby options to visit include Catalkoy beach and Alagadi beach, which are slightly further away, but more popular. In turtle nesting season you may even see baby turtles hatch and head for the water on pristine Alagadi beach. Your tour rep or hotel reception staff will give you more details.
The High Life Hotel is 2.5km form Kyrenia town. Take a 5-10 minute taxi ride, or wave your hand when you see the local bus which stops anywhere along the main road. This lively town has plenty of shops, rooftop restaurants, bars and local cafés around Kyrenia Harbour. This famous attraction is the place to find boat trips and the castle at the east end of the harbour. Within its walls there is a 12th century chapel showing re-used late Roman capitals. There is also a fascinating Shipwreck Museum with many exhibits including one of the oldest shipwrecks in the world. It's a great place for evening entertainment. Occasionally there are summer concerts at the Kyrenia Amphitheatre and your hotel receptionist will have information about this and other musical and theatrical productions in Kyrenia.
Other highly recommended places to visit for those with a car include the Church of Antiphontis and Bellapais Abbey. Many traditional festivals are hosted in charming Bellapais Village. Another nearby attraction close to the High Life Hotel is the new harbour/marina. This quiet spot has plenty of boats to admire and is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy views of the harbour and Kyrenia Mountains.
Guests can enjoy a dip in the alluring freshwater swimming pool from the beautiful terrace which is furnished with sun beds and surrounded by colourful gardens. The pool bar offers a friendly service for snacks and refreshments.
Guests at the High Life Hotel can enjoy sunbathing on the lower terrace which has direct access to the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean sea. The golden sands of Karakum Beach are a short walk from the hotel. It's a great place for snorkelling but has limited services due to its quiet location and no admission fees.
The High Life Hotel offers a good choice of international and local Cypriot food in the pleasant restaurant which is open from 8am until late evening. All meals are served à la carte in the beautiful restaurant or outdoors on the terrace which has stunning sea views. The pool bar serves drinks and snacks throughout the day in the summer months. In addition, the hotel bar is the place to start the evening with one of their signature cocktails or other delicious drinks from the menu.
In the high season, the High Life Hotel holds regular Cypriot themed evenings with traditional foods, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the cultural delights of North Cyprus. In addition, the hotel has special BBQ nights and Kleftiko nights to taste the traditional cuisine of North Cyprus.
