Near the hotel, there is a protected beach area where sea turtles lay their eggs. If you arrive at the right season, you will be able to see the mothers burying their eggs and the little hatchlings scrabbling towards the sea, which is a breathtaking sight for children and adults. As an added bonus, Iskele is very close to the ancient Roman ruins of Salamis, which make for an excellent day trip for both adults and children, offering the opportunity to explore ancient gymnasiums and temples and discover profound artefacts.

Famagusta, a charming historic town less than 25 minutes away, has a variety of cafes, bistros, bars, and restaurants. Iskele is also a beautiful port town to visit, known for its fantastic sea-food restaurants and piers overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
