Hotel Sempati is right on the Lapta Coastal Walk, wonderful for sunset walks with superb views of the stunning coastline of Kyrenia. Other attractions include; local boat rides from Sardunya Bay at the far end of the coastal walk and the 10-pin Bowling Club nearby.
The local bus stop is conveniently located for trips into Kyrenia. It is located on your right hand side as soon as you hit the main road. For dining, the Silver Rocks Restaurant is a 2-minute bus or taxi ride away (towards Kyrenia) is a popular place for tourists and locals to dine, sip a mid-morning coffee or enjoy drinks at the bar with coastal views. Another recommended restaurant is the Wild Duck which is a great choice for lunch about a 10-minute walk from the hotel towards Karsiyaka. This family-friendly restaurant has a small park with local animals to pet. After dark, JK’s Bar is an easy 2-minute walk from the hotel or The Fly Inn and The Cabin on the popular Lapta Strip are no more than a 5-minute taxi ride away.
Just 100 yards from Hotel Sempati is a delightful public sandy beach which has a true Mediterranean atmosphere with its golden sand and turquoise waters. Offering quiet tranquillity, this lovely beach has rocky features and is perfect for snorkelling and swimming.
The crescent-shaped freshwater pool has a separate shallower children's section for families to splash and play in. It has a beautiful sun terrace with comfy sun loungers for sunbathing within the exotic gardens of this upmarket hotel. In summer the restaurant has tables outdoors on the poolside terrace for romantic dining beneath the stars. There is live music on some dates. For drinks, light lunches and homemade snacks, the Café Bar has everything you could wish for and is open throughout the year.
The Sempati Cafe Bar is the place to hang out at the Hotel Sempati, socialise with fellow guests, play games and enjoy some delicious drinks in the friendly atmosphere. Cyprus Nights offer cultural cuisine and live music. Barbecue Nights are also offered around the pool in the summer season. The Sports Bar offers traditional pub games such as table football, billiards, table tennis and darts. The TV screens allow you to follow your favourite team with live football matches. Hotel Sempati also runs a Diving Club in conjunction with PADI which is connected to the Turtle Bay Dive Centre. It offers diving lessons with a professional and experienced instructor.
